Martin Complete Fly Fishing Kit Review

The Martin complete fly fishing kit comes with a 3 piece 8 foot 5-6 weight rod a small getting started fly fishing handbook and some flies to get you started off. The fly fishing reel is made from aluminum and is preloaded with with backing and leader. The reel also has a button that allows you to pop your reel in half to get out any tangles. The rod is 5-6 weight and is 8 feet long but comes in three pieces making it easy to store. It is flexible yet durable and i have not had any problems with it. A handbook is included in the kit and it is very helpful and has some very good information. A few flies are included in the kit a one is large fluffy and black and bass seem to love it it comes with a large foam poppers and a few others. i have not found any flaws with this kit it would be nice if they added a extra leader or some floatant. Over all it is a good buy at about 30 dollars i have had good luck so far with this kit so i rate this 9/10 just because they did mention floatant in the hand book do not tell you what it is or how it works or give you any. this has been my review on the Martin complete fly fishing kit here is a link to the Martin fly fishing web site.

Haveing Fun

Today me and my friend went to our "secret " pond. We had lots of fun we caught a few fish but not in a normal way . We where noodleing that is where you catch a fish with your hands it was fun.We we also tried snagging that is when snag the fish with your hook. Well today i had fun catching fish and throwing them back hope you enjoyed my blog.

Rods and Reels

Now we are going to talk about rods and reels and which kind you should buy depends on what kind of fish u want to catch if you want to catch bluegills then an ultra lite rod would be good .But if you want to catch carp and catfish a heavy action rod would work well and there are kinds of reels to.The kinds of reels you kinds of reels you can buy is ,open face,bait caster and closed face reel so you decide from. Bait

Well i guess the first thing we should talk about is bait. Some of the best bait i have found is worms tubes and flies . Worms can be fished with or without a bobber with tubes its the same thing it can be used with or without a bobber . Flies on the other hand you can use a fly rod but i do not. Flies can work very well sometimes like today wen i went fishing there were grass hoppers every where and i did not see all the fish were at the banks eating the grass hoppers that fell in then  when i put on the fly all the fish started biting . So i hope this will you some how.
